the trip is going great.
were meeting lots of great people on the way. our firs leg of the drive was 1600kms which was reasonably uneventful. unloading the pool at pt pirrie was tight & a all day event as the hole i had to put it in wasnt right. we met ben & his dad & had a good chat about bike riding , work & other cool stuff. we didnt have time for playing but look forward to riding with him later
we stayed in a motel over night .
we left 10 am wed morning. our first fuel stop was quiet interesting . Some tourists in a rental campervan had locked their keys in their van. one of the small sliding windows was open . a good looking young lady with tite little shorts volenteered to be lifted up. we were to slow with the camera but what a site when bum & legs hanging out the window.
as we headed west the temp increased to 46 degrees ( 110 f/h ) my little truck didnt like it we could only drive at 60 kms & the air con didnt work.
we pressed on anyway. by late afternoon at ceduna the temp finnally droped
driving accross the nullaboar at 2am one of our planned fuel stops was closed so we tried a conservation run. weran out 20 kms short of the town.
we were weighing up our options. do we take the go kart or motorbike to town (a bit risky in the dark with road trains ) or hitch a lift to town . we decided on that. i called up a truck who stopped. he offered to tow us behind his road train. it was prety cool getting towed it was a 3 trailer road towing a semi trailer. he got us to the bowser . we fuelled up , bled the system.
we continued allong our way dodging kangaroos, emues & dingo's.
we arrived at our next drop in kalgoorie after 31 hrs driving.
we unloaded then headed towards perth we stayed overnight & will get to perth at about lunch time today. we are going out on the jet ski this afternoon.
i'll post photos when i get them

Andrew, its the little hiccups along the way that make the trip memorable. It would just be good to get out as far as you have gone,
you can strap me on the back next time you go. The last time I drove it, it was still dirt, that would be fun being towed behind a road train in the dust,,,NOT.
Have a good one, Stevo http://www.aqavic.org.au/forum/icon_smile.gif

WELL WE MADE PERTH
DROVE TO THE BAY & MET UP WITH A FEY GUYS WHO CONTACTED US ON THE WAY
WE JUMPED ON THE JET SKI FOR A SPIN . IT WAS OUR FIRST GO IN ROUGH CHOP. wITH NO BOAT RAMP IT WAS A BIT TOUGH BUMMING ACCROSS THE SAND.. MARCELL OFFERED US ACCOMODATION AT HIS PLACE WHICH WE GLADLY ACCEPTED. WE WENT OUT FRI NIGHT & ENDED UP AT THE CASINO TIL 3.30AM
SATURDAY I WAS HELPING SET UP THE EXPO WUTH MY CRANE. HUNG OUT WITH SAFF ( ANOTHER PARA STUNT RIDER )
WE ARRIVED BACK AT MARCELL & AMMANDA'S HOUSE ABOUT 6PM & WE DECIDED TO GO RIDING.
SO 4 PARA'S & ONE AB JUMPED ON THE three 4 WHEELERS & 2 TRAIL BIKES & SET OFF FOR A RIDE.
THE SO CALLED EASY TRAIL RIDE TO THE QUARRY TURNED OUT TO BE QUIET A CHALLENGE ESPECIALLY FOR MATTY BECAUSE HIS BIKE HAD ROAD TYRES. HE DID FANTASTIC TO GET AS FAR AS HE DID BUT WHEN IT GOT DARK & ONLY 2 OF THE 4 WHEELERS HAS LIGHTS A SLIPPERY CORNER PROOVED TOO MUCH FOR MAT . SO HE TOOK A 4 WHEELER & SAFF TOOK THE WR
WE ALL ENDED UP HOME SAFE
SUNDAY WE LOADED THE TRUCK AT 5AM & HEADED TO TOWN . EXPO WENT WELL & HAD A GREAT DAY TALKING TO THE PEOPLE. THE DEMO WENT GREAT
MARCELL LED OUT WITH HIS RAPTOR 700 DOING WHEELIES & GETTING ON 2 WHEELS ROUND CORNERS
MATTYS LITTLE stunt BIKE WHICH WE STAYED UP TILL MIDNIGHT SATURDAY NIGHT CHANGING TYRES ON WASNT RUNNING RIGHT SO HE RODE THE BIG 45O. THE CONCRETE FLOOR WAS VERY SLIPPERY & HE HAD TROUBLE GETTING IT TO WHEELSTAND BUT SOME VERY IMPRESSIVE RIDING SKILLS.
I TOOK THE GO KART ROUND IT WAS A HOOT SLIDDING ROUND THE FLOOR STAYING INCHES OFF THE WALLS.
A COUPLE OF OTHERS TEST DROVE THE KART UNTIL A AB DIDNT WORK OUT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A BRAKE & A THROTTLE & CRASHED INTO MARCELL KNOCKING HI FLYING OUT OF HIS CHAIR.
IT WAS A FANTASTIC DAY ESPECIALLY WHEN SOMONE SAT IN THE KART & WERE SO EXCITED

TODAY WAS A QUIETER DAY PACKING UP & GETTING SOME KNOBBY TYRES FITTED TO MATS BIKE IN PREP FOR ANOTHER RIDE TOMOROW . THIS TIME 4 PARA'S ONLY. I WILL KEEP YOU POSTED
