Farewell To Ian Bennett - 18th April 2007

AQA farewelled our long-serving CEO at an intimate function held at the Grandview Hotel on the 18 th April 2007 . The function was attended by Board Directors, staff, industry colleagues and Ian’s family. For those who knew Ian this was an ideal way of saying thank you, farewell and we’ll miss you.

Ian was presented with a plaque depicting his years of service, together with a GPS Car Navigation kit that we all know he will put to good use in his future adventures! His love of driving and his upcoming holiday will ensure that the GPS gets a great workout.

Friend and associate Max Kelleher from Wheelchair Sports Victoria paid tribute to Ian and his valuable service to the industry. He also expressed his appreciation of his working relationship with Ian and the friendship that developed from that association.

Wendy Lundgaard, Chairman of AQA also gave a ‘light’ roast with many anecdotes gathered from staff and friends that portrayed Ian as someone that is highly thought of and who has a sense of humour he shares with all who know him.
