Paralympic Public & Civic Melbourne Reception 2008

The City of Melbourne gave a public & civic reception to the Victorian Paralympians on Monday 13th October. A small but enthusiastic crown gathered at the Melbourne Town Hall to congratulate representatives from many of the teams that participated in the games.

Included in this reception was AQA’s Nazim Erdem who with team members Bryce Alman and Greg Smith represented the Silver medal winning Australian Wheelchair Rugby team. It was great to see the public recognition and the Civic Reception provided an opportunity for family and friends to join in the celebrations in the Town Hall later for a light luncheon.
