AQA has experience and knowledge of the needs of people with disabilities and can therefore offer employment, as well as education and vocational training and support, while taking into account medical requirements and physical limitations. The A.Q.A. Business Service employs people with physical disabilities and provides internal printing, DTP, photocopying etc to all departments within AQA. Through the provision of employment AQA promotes the abilities and the quality of life of people with disabilities, while at the same time advancing their general and social interests. The Information/Peer Support department produces a bi-monthly newsletter News Link for the benefit of our members, their families and other interested stakeholders. Staff in this department also provide Peer Support to newly and long time spinal cord injured people.

In 1991 AQA Qualcare was established with funding via the Department of Human Services, to provide Attendant Care and Respite services to people with severe disabilities. A.Q.A. Qualcare is also a provider of attendant care to clients of TAC (Transport Accident Commission), local councils and other agencies. In this capacity AQA employs a large number of attendant carers who assist clients in their home with domestic and personal duties.
