Information Service

The AQA Information Service provides support and information primarily to people who have sustained a spinal cord injury, and also their family and friends as well as the general community. The service provides access to Information Officers for phone or email contact, a bi-monthly newsletter, News Link, and website forum. An extensive database of disability related information is compiled, reviewed and expanded in order to provide current, accurate and timely information on request. Team members participate in community events and forums that provide awareness of spinal cord injury. The service links people who have spinal cord injury to necessary information, events and forums. Having this information can enhance the participation of those with spinal cord injury in specialist events and forums that are designed with their specific needs in mind.
