AQA Victoria Ltd. and its divisions respects the privacy and confidentiality of information gathered from all individuals by complying with the Privacy Legislation Acts of the Commonwealth and State Governments.

The Acts related to this policy include:

• Information Privacy Act 2000 (Victorian)
• Health Records Act 2001 (Victorian)
• Privacy Act 1988 (Commonwealth)

AQA Victoria Ltd. and its divisions will comply with such legislation by:

• Only collecting and storing information that is relevant and necessary to providing an efficient and professional service to its clients, members and the community.
• Never disclosing personal information without the prior consent of the individual.
• Disposing or archiving personal information in a secure manner.
• Information gathered will only be used for the purpose intended. Requests to view personal information that is held by AQA Victoria Ltd. and its divisions must go through our Privacy Officer (Chief Executive Officer)
• We do not collect people’s names or email addresses.

No information gathered by us is passed on to or sold to any third party without the express consent of the individual. If you supply personal information to us for the purpose of us providing a service, you have the right to access the information and ensure that it is correct. You also have the right to correct the information if is it incorrect, or utilise our complaints/grievance procedure if you consider that we are in breach of our policies or the above mentioned Acts.

Requests for information can be made directly to our Privacy Officer (Chief Executive Officer). Requests must be in writing and contain details of the information required.
