27 & 28 May: 10am - 1pm or 2pm - 5pm.
Join us to develop your wheelchair skills and build your confidence when moving about in the great outdoors. All sessions are held at the AQA office: 416 Heidelberg Rd, Fairfield, VIC.
What's Out There days
August 17, Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre, Kew.
December 7, Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre, Kew.
What’s Out There days are AQA community living expos which showcase the possibilities of life with a spinal cord injury or similar disability. A typical WOT day program draws on a panel of speakers with lived experience and includes a panel discussion, a Q&A session, a barbecue lunch, small-group discussion, and usually a wheelchair sport showcase. Nothing is off the table at these discussions.
Discover your power
Our five-day motivational and goal setting course, Discovering the Power in Me, is specifically designed for people living with spinal cord injuries or similar disabilities. The course aims to help you and your family build hope, inner strength, resilience, and self-efficacy.
The next DPM course will begin later this year. If you express interest via the button below, we'll let you know when the dates are set.

Monthly get-togethers in your area, or online
AQA facilitates monthly meetings and excursions in regional zones across Victoria, and in Melbourne. Over 2020 and 2021, most of our sessions were conducted online. We hope to reactivate our in-person group activities from 2022.
We also hope to build more networks around common interests, following the pattern of our Women With SCI network.
AQA Celebration
TBA November 2022, likely at AQA, 416 Heidelberg Road, Fairfield, 3078 Victoria.
Every year about the middle of November, AQA hosts an Annual Celebration for our community on a date that coincides with our Annual General Meeting.
