Our mission & vision have always been about improving quality of life, independence and community participation through active promotion of people's capacity, their value and their right to participate in all aspects of community life.
We take pride in knowing that if we do what we do well, we add real value to the lives of others and contribute to people’s enjoyment of Life.
We are committed to values of integrity, respect, excellence and trust.
In a time of significant reform and change in our sector, we encourage our people to be inquisitive, look for opportunities and challenge the norm in order to achieve better outcomes.
Our organisation is our people. We have a team of over 30 office based employees, a growing network of office based volunteers and interns, 500 + community based disability support workers, over 70 Spinal Cord Injury Peer Mentors and a significant network of community supporters.
Our employees are able to participate in salary packaging of living expenses, meal and entertainment packaging and the opportunity to explore workable flexible arrangements (such as flexible working hours, compressed working hours, Accrued Day Off and remote working) to maximise work-life balance, performance, engagement and satisfaction.
